Feeding a growing family is tough – especially these days. Resources are available statewide this summer to help Maine families access food for kids.

Pandemic EBT: Get extra help with groceries

Your child may be eligible for Pandemic EBT (P-EBT). The links below contain important information you need to know to access this benefit for your kid(s).

You may have already been sent a Pandemic EBT card for your child

If you already receive SNAP, your child is qualified for free meals at school, or the school your child attends meets certain eligibility thresholds, YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY BEEN SENT A P-EBT CARD IN YOUR CHILD’S NAME. The card would have arrived in an unmarked, white envelope. To report a missing or discarded card CLICK HERE.

Act quickly to secure Summer P-EBT for your child

It’s estimated that 30,000 Maine children who are eligible for Summer P-EBT haven’t yet been issued their cards. If you think this may be the case for your child, it’s important you act quickly to secure this benefit. Apply by August 31 to receive Summer P-EBT by applying for School Meals and/or SNAP.
