Ending child hunger in Maine.

Schools all over Maine need your help to bring nutritious food to their students. Choose a project that inspires you and give any amount to help put an end to child hunger in Maine.

WELCOME TO FUND LOCAL

Full Plates Full Potential knows that childhood hunger is a solvable problem. We are working to end childhood hunger by surrounding kids with nutritious meals where they live, learn and play. Federal nutrition programs such as the School Breakfast Program, National School Lunch, Summer Nutrition Programs and others protect our kids from hunger. These programs also have long-lasting effects on academic achievement and health. Partnering with schools to connect kids to the available USDA Child Nutrition programs are the core element of our Feed KIDS strategy.

We are enormously excited to invite you to apply to receive funding that can help you reach more kids in your school or district with nutritious meals. Last year, the state of Maine had nearly 100 million dollars in available funding to purchase meals for our children when they are hungry and no other options are available. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis so when you are ready to feed kids we will be ready to help. if you aren’t ready to pitch your idea today, we encourage you to come back and apply just as soon as you are ready.
