Two critical bills to combat childhood hunger to be taken up in the Second Legislative Session. The first, LR 2409, would give food service directors and superintendent’s surety that every child eligible for a meals programs can do so. The second, LR 2410, will streamline the application process for after-school food programs to feed for more children.
