Lisbon High School has a total student enrollment of 338.
Currently, we are in our 2nd year of serving breakfast at the High School. The state average breakfast participation (ADP) is closer to 40%. There are several identifiable barriers that are keeping our kids from grabbing a great meal to start their day. Kids are reluctant to come to the cafeteria for breakfast because they are afraid of being labeled as the poor kids.
We plan to use the funding to purchase a breakfast cart which we would locate in the front of the school where all student can grab something delicious for breakfast. Schools around the state are adopting this “grab and go” model with great success.
We need your help strengthening our community.
